image editor modification

We have an image editor designed using javascript/ajax which allows us to resize flip rotate etc. We would like to add an option to this that does the following. the user can add padding to the outline of an image (similar to adding a frame) the main feature here is that the user can specify in mm the thickness of the padding, the colour, and where it applies, for example. Padding position. Thickness. Left of image: 3 Right of Image: 0 Top: 3 Bottom: 3 Colour to apply (colour selected) Once saved this will allow the user to line an image to the side of a template (in the example above, the image would be lined to the right of the template) and choose the colour so the padding matches the background of the template. we can provide the original image editing script (not to be resold / redistributed) that needs editing, you will need to install this on your system to show us your work. thanks
