Software Creation

I am in need of an expert to update / upgrade several software programs written in Visual Basic. The programs are approximately 2 years old and have not been updated since they were originally created. They are in need of someone that can take charge, analyze the source code, and make it much more user friendly and compatible with the new Windows Vista platform and visually appealing for the user. The basis of the programs are to actually use FREE software and give detailed tutorial instructions on how to use it while giving it an integrated look and feel. What I am selling is the Tutorial to each free program, but with the program being integrated with the tutorial. My background in this project is that I have just recently purchased all of these products with exclusive rights to everything detailed here. I will retain the rights to all source code and websites that you work on and you will be expected to respect my Copyright and source code rights by not divulging them to anyone except me without prior written approval. This could be a long term assignment with invitations to bid on my 10 other software products and for the right individual that shows they have the skills to provide excellent service and communication skills as well as showing the ability to think independently and provide an outstanding product. Full details may be obtained at: [login to view URL] ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). projects.
