Website Designer/Developer for Long Term Business Relationship

I found this ad and it is EXACTLY what I am looking for so I am going to steal the text of it. I am not that other advertiser, though. Hope this doesn't create confusion. :) I am looking to form a long-term relationship with a solid web development and promotions group/team. Clear lines of communication, quality output, consistency, timeliness, reliability, respect and a commitment to mutual success are priorities. I develop simple but focused web sites for small businesses. As business is growing, I now want to focus on my customer base. I desire to develop a strong backend through a working relationship with a solid web development team. My current model is that I gather most of the information from a small business owner. I work with you as we define/design/develop the site. When complete, you build and test the site. I host it for my client. Over the first few months, we work with the site owner and maybe update the site. After a client is established, we can upgrade their site with e-commerce, communities, databases… I am looking to establish a relationship where I pay you a total of $250 (US) dollars for each site. I secure a client (small business owner) and you and I contract to build their site. I pay you $100 and we define/design their site. The site needs to be clean, easy to navigate, structurally solid, easily updateable, and represent our clients’ demands and image. You then build the site, and when I host it (go live), I pay you another $100. We maintain, tweak, and update the site for my client for the next 6 months, and I pay you another $50. If mutually agreed, I then pay you to help maintain this site at a price of $50 for each 6-month period. After built, you would have the first right of refusal when one of my clients wants to upgrade their site (i.e. e-commerce, communities…). Please DO include you current per hour rate in you bid for this project. You would also get first bid on other project that I am establishing. I currently use the Macromedia and Adobe tools sets, and would need to be able to pull any part of the site in for modification. I would need to have a copy of all code and elements, and the option to discuss code that you develop with the developer. I would also require a template page for each site, in case I where to need to and a page or two. My final requirement is good communication. I want to have one main contact that will take responsibility for your part of the operation. Good communication, single point of contact, quick turnaround, and a responsive and responsible partner are a key requirement. If you bid for this, we will have a screening process. I will select the best three developers that appear to be the best fit. I will submit to each the same project and will pay each $100 for the design and build of the first (3) projects. Based upon the process, our working relationship, our ease of communication, your skill sets and commitment, timeliness during this screening period; I will select one preferred developer. I am looking to guarantee a long term working relationship; please do not bid if you do not want to go through this screening process.
