Magento Expert to Help Trouble Shoot Shipping ID Issue - Chat Online

We're currently having an issue with our Shipping Auto Incremental ID. The issue is we have web services setup where a fulfillment house updates order statuses such as order received, processing, shipped. When an order is shipped Magento uses the next auto incremental shipping ID. For some reason we're able to process a handful of orders for a random period of time. For some reason at some point Magento gets out of sync on what shipping ID number to use and tries to use an already existing ID. We figured out how to change the auto increment ID so we thought the problem was fixed.. but for some reason, and at apparently random times/intervals the auto increment number gets reset back to what it was before but plus 1. I am not able to reproduce this error because of its randomness.. Basically there is a table on the server called eav_entity_store that keeps track of each auto-increment number for the different types of invoices in magento... The Shipping auto-increment is the one that keeps getting reset. which is entity_type_id 8.. Each time a shipping invoice is needed to be created magento queries this table to get the next auto increment id. It works fine for a hour or two, or a couple hundred invoices and then seemingly randomly it will revert to a previous number... for example here it was it has done so far... We manually set Increment to 10000083936 reverted to: 10000083142 Processed fine 10000083826 - 10000083936 Manually set increment to 10000083826 reverted to: 10000083141 Processed fine 10000083140 - 10000083825 Told Magento to add another 0 to the auto increment so it generated 10000083140 reverted to: 1000083140 This all started when the database crashed on November 1st.. I have cleared the cache and cannot find anything on google specific to this problem. No code has changed since then. The error that magento returns when it tries to write an entry with a duplicate ID is 'Zend_Db_Statement_Exception' with message 'SQLSTATE[23000]: Integrity constraint violation: 1062 Duplicate entry '1000083140' for key 'UNQ_SALES_FLAT_SHIPMENT_INCREMENT_ID'' in /home/devgearm/public_html/lib/Zend/Db/Statement/[login to view URL] We need a Magento Expert that we can pay to chat online with to resolve this issue. As I stated we've manually set the incremental number as well as attempted to add an additional "0" to the number and cleared all cache files we know of. Need a magento expert who is familiar with Magento php code inside and out to help solve this.
