We are a company based in the UK and looking to build a piece of software for all parts of our company to use. This stage of the software will form the first part of a much larger project as we will require several more further software builds and additions to complete the project overall. For this stage of the project, we are looking to design a piece of software for a small recruitment team to use to which will quite simply allow the user to create a database of applicants and categorize the database into segments enabling the user to fire off individual or mass emails / texts to the database informing targeted sections of the database of new jobs we have available. The software will also require an email and text message writer or link to existing software such as Microsoft Outlook and will also allow the user to create email and text templates to use over and over again. Another section of the software will need to match the applicant postcodes within the database and link to Google maps api in order to preference search the applicants closest to the postcode of the job advertisement in question. Finally the software will use the information added about the applicants to create reports and also create graphical displays on the dashboard. Please view the specification attached to get details. We have tried to write the spec in as much detail as possible almost like a recipe to a chef but we welcome and promote many questions and plenty of discussion before the project and during the project to ensure software creation is what we desire. Please take your time to review the spec and feel free to ask any questions before bidding. We encourage this as the spec may need some more questions answering. This will be given to the bidder that demonstrates the best capability not to the quickest to apply hence there is no rush to make a bid. Those we have previously worked with on similar projects hold an advantage. We are open to suggestion on timescale but quality is our main focus. This stage of the project will be rewarded to the freelancer that offers the best price and demonstrates the best overall strategy and capability. We would prefer to work with 1 freelancer for the whole total project dependent on the success of how this piece of recruitment software goes. We anticipate this stage of the project to cost at the mid to high end of a small project but all offers will be considered. Financially this project will stack up very well for the right Freelancer due to the scope in lots more work for further development and new stages required following successful completion of this section. Hi, First of all, we have read and re-read the specification document from end to end and must congratulate you for putting up a requirements document that is unambiguous, clear and coherent. We understand your requirements fully and are confident of providing you with a fully functional, fully tested, bugless and professional product that will as per the specs provided. Our point: 1. We would prefer PHP-MySQL with JQuery/AJAX. Frontend layout will be HTML5 and CSS3. For charts, we will use JQuery & D3. Hope you are OK with the use of these technologies. 2. You want to run your app from a local server. That means, a SMTP server (required for sending emails) should be installed, enabled and configured locally, or would you use a professional 3rd Party SMTP server (like Gmail or GoDaddy)? 3. Same goes true for TEXT messages. Do you want to set-up everything locally, or would you go for 3rd Party TXTing APIs? 4. Is there any chance that you (or we) can extract the country, city database from your existing software/service? 5. Do you plan to use the free version of Google Maps API, or the paid version? 6. You will probably agree with us that the most important function of the system would be listing of candidates, either through category or postal proximity search. I am just wrapping up a lead management web site for an American company that had very similar requirements to yours. Just to give you an idea of what was implemented, the web site includes functions for: - adding/viewing/editing leads - customisable email templates that could be programmed to go out depending on lead category, after specific actions were taken or after a specific time period elapsed. - upload and download leads from CSV files. - customisable splash pages with embedded forms that a user could use to capture and send lead details to his lead manager account. The whole project was built with Yii and used Bootstrap for the front-end. I'm mentioning all this to demonstrate that I have the experience and technical know-how to develop a project such as yours.
