Hi, I only started bidding actively here recently, however I have been developing websites with Joomla since 2008. I'm therefore qualified and skilled to deliver your project on time and budget. Lately I have migrated numerous websites from 1.5 ( or even 1.0) to 3.x. I know what it takes if you want to do the job properly: 1) you need to develop a new template 2) you need to check every extension installed and if no version is available to work with the latest version you need to find a replacement component or upgrade the code. 3) in addition to standard content migration you need to migrate the content of you custom extensions. All in all it's a lot of work. To make sure everything works smoothly I always work on a cloned version of your live site. I run the migration, ask you to validate, document everything, and when you're ready I run the migration again for the actual switch over. It's the way I have migrated sites here on freelancer.com recently. You can check my reviews. I would need to have a little more information about your sites, its customization, the current version, volume of content, et.c. I'm also US based and fluent in French and English which could make communication easier. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have further questions.
