Dynamic DNS Client for DNSEXIT.COM

Program Written in VB or VC++ [login to view URL] provides dynamic DNS services for DSL or Cable Modem users so they can host their own website at home PC with dynamic IP. We need a windows program that will update user Machine IP address to DNSExit.com. This program should be able to detect both the PC's local IP or network proxy IP address and update the IP address to DNSExit.com. [login to view URL] program should be able to run as windows services and place a little icon on the right lower corner of windows start bar. [login to view URL] have the option to choose either using the machine IP or router's IP address. User should be able to choose the time interval to check the IP changes. To get the router IP, we will provide you with a URL such as [login to view URL] to get the IP. You need to know how to get the machine IP from the PC machine. [login to view URL] program will detect the changes of the IP and update the latest IP to DNSExit.com. The update is through URL post to DNSExit.com. We will give you the URL, user account and parameters to post. [login to view URL] last successfully updated IP to [login to view URL] should be cached at local machine so that the update of IP only occurs when IP is different from the successfully updated latest IP. The update documents can be obtained from [login to view URL] ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows NT/XP/2000/2003/98/ME Coder should test the program on as many windows platforms as he can before deliver the program to us.
