DOWNLOADABLE The database must in essence be downloaded by my prospects. They will fill out a simple form online with their name and email address and receive the instant-quote program. This can automatically be emailed as an attachment by my autoresponder and/or via any other option you might suggest. I would like the exe. files to auto-install either on their C drive or on their desktop. (Mac and Windows users) ## Deliverables SPECIFICATIONS (1 of 3) Once installed - the program should be easy to use. It will be comprised of 3 basic screens - namely: 1. The first (main) screen will have as a header the company name and logo. Since the objective of this program is for the end-user to enter the details pertaining to their printing needs - this first screen will have 10-14 sections with approximately 8 scroll-down options each plus the quantity selection: For example: Brochures Scroll-down options Size 81/2X11 or 11X17 Disk supplied Yes or No Color 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 Fold Yes or No Paper Glossy or Malt Weight 60lbs or 70lbs or 100 lbs Quantity 1000 to 50000 Obviously each of these selections will impact the quote figure (fee). This can perhaps be set up as a pre-determined macro that adds up the values as they are entered. On this same screen they will have 3 options: A. Submit this quote Pressing this will bring them to the second component or screen of the database. B. Clear/Start over This will erase the entries and create a new blank template. C. Help Button This will allow the end-user to email us with their questions or difficulties. SPECIFICATIONS (2 of 3) The exe. database/instant quote program must allow the end-user to enter their specs and receive a quote. This quote will be comprised of their company name and address (screen 2), all the data entered on screen 1 and the compiled figures both in USF and in CDN Funds. (screen 3) 2. The second page will have our company name and logo. This second screen will request that the end-user enter their company information - which the program will cut and paste onto screen 3. However, the end-user will have 2 options at this stage: A. Back This will take them back to screen 2 B. Forward Pressing this will tell the system to not only remember, compile and add the values in screen 1 but also to transfer those in screen 2 to screen 3 - even if screen 2 is blank. SPECIFICATIONS (3 of 3) The last screen will compile all the information entered in screen 1 and 2 and put it into a template format in screen 3. 3. The third page will be a printable letter with our letterhead and logo also as well as their company information (if entered on screen 2). It will give the breakdown only of the information they selected on screen 1. (In other words - out of the 10-14 sections each with 6-8 options - only the fields which they filled out will show up on quotes page.) The program will give CDN and USF prices. The end-user will have 5 options: A. Print Quote B. Save Quote C. Email Quote - to forward quote to their boss or to us for example. D. Ordering information E. FTP Upload link The important thing is for this program to be user-friendly for both Windows and Mac programs.
