Brief ================================= Example CV is a simple Worpress CMS which provides users with free CV examples. We provide regular new templates at no cost, specialising in all major recruitment sectors. Such and IT, Finance, Legal and Retail. The homepage will cover all sections of the site, and then each business sector will have it's only landing page, with similar layout, just with dedicated sector content. I will provide a design in photoshop layored PSD. You will make the word press theme and develop the website up until completed. I will use basecamp as my project management tool. I expect all communication to go through this and to keep all To-Do items up-to-date and in order. I have my own hosting which is a basic LAMP server. Registration ================================= 1. register with short form (agree to terms) 2. receive email with secure link, user saved to database. 3. link is clicked account is active 4. Access to ALL CV database is provided 5. Clicking on a docuement link prompts for phone number Fancy Box 6. user can download documents. Password is set by the system on registration. Lost password is set by inserting your email. Password is sent via email. From a business logic perspective, there are 3 main stages to a registration, when the user first registers, when the user validates their email, when the user validates their phone number. I would like to have in the administration area a table which will allow me to see all the users. I can then filter the table by stage, date registered, sector, if a CV is present. I can also click a link and view their old cv if they have uploaded one. Front End Articles ================================= New articles are uploaded regularly in their retrospective categories. These will appear in the front page boxes and in their landing pages. This site will rely heavily on SEO so it's essential that all URL's are friendly and no querystrings are being used. Facebook There is also a Facebook LIKE panel on the right side of the page to get users to like our service, no real programming to do here except inserting the facebook widget into our template. CV writing service This is a service that I have an affiliation scheme with and will be a form to email. I would also like all enquires to be saved to the database if possible. No crucial though.
