I'm looking for a coder than can access 5 or 6 different open source web sites for me. The job will be to deliver the code necessary to extract data from these sites. The website that these routines will be used for is currently 95% done but just waiting for these routines.
The sites that You will need to access are:
1. google local/web/blogg search
This is done via a google api. Google local search results will also need to be flagged in a google map.
2. [login to view URL] will need to be accessed via their open xml api
3. A usa government weather site will need to be accessed via their open xml routine.
4. [login to view URL] will need to be accessed via their open api.
5. [login to view URL] will need to be accessed via their open xml api.
6. A news content site (yahoo or topics) will need to be accessed as well.
All routines will be very simular in function as they will be retrieving data for different city/states of the usa. Please let me know if you're interested and if you have ever done this type of work before.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
