The aim of the app is to create an easy to use, nice to look at, interactive online marketplace to be launched in countries/cities with high unmet need. Many smaller and less developed countries do not have a purpose-built online marketplace solution. Rather they use platforms such as facebook (FB) marketplace. FB marketplace is very popular in these countries, but I believe that’s because they have no better alternatives. Also in these countries many things; such as real estate listings, used cars, community events and promotions are very disorganized and there’s no central and reliable place to go. The app will have many functions, but the main function will be to connect users that want to sell and buy their new/used items. Also for small businesses (mom and pop stores) that have no online presence or advertising anywhere. This will be free and generate usage of the app. Then services targeted more to commercial/business users such as listing cars for sale at dealerships, apartments/houses for rent or for sale, commercial real estate, as well as promoting your business (such as a restaurant) will be paid for. The app itself will be free to download.
