Backend developer ================= We are in need of a backend developer to work on a web application. The web application is similar to a CRUD administration tool but with extra features. The basic task of this application will be to enable create/read/upd ate/delete functionality for data coming from various sources (database, third-party APIs, user input, etc.). More information will be revealed to selected candidates. As a backend developer, you are required to develop a JSON-based RESTful HTTP API for consumption by the frontend. Your code's basic function would be to access, store and manipulate data. # Basic skills required * Ability to work with other developers on the same project * Collaboration via Git with and without a GUI like GitLab * Ability to write good-quality code that follows established standards (like the PSR standards for PHP code) * Test-driven development * Docker usage and administration * Basic CentOS and Ubuntu Server administration # Main technologies used The following languages/frameworks/tools form the backbone of the project and you need to have experience in them * Docker 1.5 (running on CentOS 7) * PHP 5.6 * Laravel 4.2/5 * MariaDB 10 * Node.js 0.10 # Other technologies The following are tools/frameworks that will be used in the project.
