documentviewer that embeds documents in website

Hello. I'm looking for a documentviewer script that can be used to embed and view documents directly in the browser. all files will be hosted localy(localhost/intranet). so there is no possibilty to use/reach any external resources like google doc viewer or apis like this. following requirements are also important: - written in javascript/ jquery/ php - the more lightweight and easy to "maintain" the better - i want to embed the document somehow in a div or object like this: <object class="viewdoc" data="root/to/[login to view URL]" type='type of document'></object> - documents have to be searchable in the documentviewer if possible - no downloadbutton is required! - required filetypes would be: PDF ( Adobe Acrobat ) DOC/DOCX ( Microsoft Word ) PPT/PPTX ( Microsoft PowerPoint ) XLS/XLSX ( Microsoft Excel ) nice to have: - cache documents when first viewed/embed. if existing documents/files got modified view uncached version and cache the new version. - i dont know that much about caching. so maybe this is not even possible or a good idea regarding perfomance. i dont know. i'm open for any solution. leace a comment if you like :) PS: use existing scripts/ classes if you like. i just didn't found one that fits my requirements. would be nice if it looks like this -> [login to view URL] (origin: [login to view URL])
