Educational Software Development

Hello my name is Jordan. My partner and I are looking to build an educational software to serve the many outlets of educational needs by providing an easier tool for teachers and a better way for learning for students. In short we are looking for a developer who can: 1) Work independently, following deadlines and being in communication as needed but self-motivated enough to not require micro-managing. 2) Program in a well-known, modern language (Java, etc.). 3) Handle backend databases (MYSQL, etc.). 4)Work with AWS (or something similar) for scalability, potentially for millions of page loads per month. 5) Be able to translate general site objectives into particular developer tasks (aka, for times when I don't know the specific techniques but have an end-goal behavior in mind. 5) As we get to the growth stage, handle running a small team of developers - assigning tasks, monitoring results, and keeping communication open. 6) Have some knowledge and experience in mobile applications (iOS and Android especially). In short - we're looking for someone who will join us in the early stage, grow with the company, and ultimately run the technical side of the website for the life of the product. They would handle the entirety of the technical end of things, reporting directly to the CEO. Compensation for this can be negotiated with final prospects as this will be an ongoing project for many months and possibly longer if we both find it to be a good fit.
