Expert Wordpress / PHP Full Stack Dev - Baked Ramen -- 2

*** PLEASE READ THE FULL PROJECT BEFORE RESPONDING *** We are looking for a Wordpress / PHP / Full-stack developer that absolutely knows his/her way around the Wordpress. First and foremost you must be a seasoned developer that knows how to properly use Github. You will be developing locally on your own system, and expected to make small and frequent commits with proper commit messages and pushes back to our github repo. If you are not familiar with working for a team that puts large emphasis on it's devops, then please do not bother to apply. We've been doing projects on Freelancer for over 8 years, and we do have standards that we expect you to follow. For this project, we have a template that was purchased (like many others), and we need a number of backend and frontend changes. You must be a Full stack developer, but most of the emphasis on this project will be backend and admin system focused. This project will be based on an initial fee for the following tasks: Our working prototype site: [login to view URL] 1. Removal of all purchase validation code that was put into the template originally. It is extremely sloppy and slowing down performance. 2. Removal of warnings for disabled components that are required by the template. As it stands, we get several messages when we turn off plugins and we need those messages to be removed. In particular, we are using the Professional version of an Instagram Plugin. We disabled the "trial" version, but still receive warning messages. 3. Fixing the overall Site Health Status. We have been seeing a number of messages regarding REST API encountering and error, background updates not working as expected and that the site cannot complete a loopback request. We suspect these issues are related to the template validation code, but we do need these issues 4. Modification of the Recipes module. Currently, when you visit any of our Recipes, all of the ingredients are in "english" form and we need the ability added to store and switch between metric and english equivalents. This task also involves changing the picture lightbox, to a different lightbox that is more fluid and easier to use. Again, please be mindful that we know web design and development very well. If you are NOT technical or a strong full-stack developer, we will definitely know.
