Live Prototype / Proof of concept

I am trying to prototype a very basic interactive responsive web application that will allow people to do a social check-in based on a specific location to meet with people to collaborate based on shared interests. The purpose of this application is to test whether people in public libraries would gather together around shared interests if they knew others were there and open to such collaboration. This project is mainly for a demo of a proof of concept. As such, it does not have to be production ready, but does have to be accessible from a public server (I can host) I am not concerned about the underlying technology, but would like there to be endpoints for consuming JSON for frontend work. This project includes both backend (php, python, whatever + database) and rudimentary, unstyled html output. Would prefer bootstrap responsive output. It could also be based on this: [login to view URL] but it's a bit old. Typical workflow for demonstration purposes: * user follows qr code to site * they're prompted to follow "I'm here to.. - learn to... - study/prepare for... - find... - research... - help... - use... - make... - other... " * under each of these is an open-text field with autocomplete. Once they've provided the reason for being there, the user is either told that there are others who have checked in recently interested in the same thing, or asked if they want to be broadcast as 'open to meeting' with others, and to provide a location in the building, as well as a first name. User stories: * As a user, I want to be able to broadcast that I am here for a specific learning purpose to invite others to join me * As a user, I want to see when other people are here for the same or similar reason * As a user, I want to be able to locate this person based on the information they've provided (probably a desk or table id) * As a user, I want my checkin to expire after a reasonable time (1 hr) * As a user, I want to be anonymous Seriously, I just need something that I can show that: a) lets me go to the page and select "I'm here to learn about" and start typing something, kicking off an autocomplete on substring b) lets me select from the autocomplete or finish typing c) hit "check in" d) see that there are n other people checked in who want to do the same thing OR e) ask if I'm interested in collaborating and giving me a field for a desk number That's it. There could be iterations as time permits, but I need to show something by July 17th in a controlled walkthrough. Hoping this will be a fun little project for someone.
