i need someone that have experience with ffmpeg / streaming /iptv ... I have a server in which i have installed ffmpeg so i restream some links ffmpeg -i "[login to view URL]" -vcodec copy -acodec copy -hls_time 10 -hls_wrap 10 -start_number 1 -y "/var/www/html/[login to view URL]" but problem is coz sometime it stops (it blocks) so it show just a image and is not live . I have a bash script that restart if pid is killed but i need a script to detected if [login to view URL] is blocked and kill pid so my script can restart it. So i need a solution to detected if is blocked or maybe any other solution to make ffmpeg not to block

Hi, Maybe a small bash script is a solution for you. If ffmpeg is running and the files are not been writen or created ( your hls_wrap option ), then kill ffmpeg. Can be a shell script or a python program. Please send a 'ps -ef' & 'ls -lrt /var/www/html/tv1.*' to see details. Best Regards,, David
