Fruit and Vegetable Marketing site/ photo database/ business networking site for the Melbourne Fruit and Veg wholesale market suppliers and customers. Content updated by multiple (~300) registered fruit and veg wholesalers and used by many (400+) independent fruit and vegetable retailers to keep their clients informed about current item availability, new items coming into the market and market shortages. I envision the wholesale suppliers would have a Wholesaler profile, that would list all of their items. The public would not have access to the wholesaler profiles. The Independent retailers would have a Fruiterer Profile that could access all of the Wholesaler items and display the items they choose, from any wholesaler, to the public. This will solve a key problem that exists currently, where retailers would like to inform their customers more about available products but the large amount of information that exists makes it very difficult just because there is so much that no individual retail could remember all of it. The wholesalers try to advertise their products to the retailers, but because there are so many wholesalers, and so many retailers it is hard to ensure the retailers are properly informed, and the only way the wholesalers will keep selling unique item lines is if they get the public aware that they are available.
