Apply discount to order using an API of a fidelization card -- 2

We have a client card for a Prestashop Store. We have an API to request what discount to apply to order depends on client type. API says the client type (there are 9 different) when client put the client card id on checkout step (like discount code box). I thought we must have the 9 different type of discount coupon created on Prestashop like normal coupons, and Prestashop will apply the coupon depends on API answer.
