I need a very simple ruby program that will download emails from a gmail account, read through the email looking for predefined characters and then create a new email in a specific format with key bits of information from the first email. It is basically a program that will connect 2 different systems together via emails. At this stage it is a test of concept so it does not need a GUI. The code must be written with full explanations after each line. The program must run on a windows 10 PC in the background (with ruby installed) and poll the gmail account every 30 seconds for new emails to convert.
