I have 10 Linux Mint Thinclients. We connect to Server 2008 through RDP which is Virtual Machine in Hyper-V. I need to allow the users to use their local PC USB ports for their USB devices (mainly USB printers, USB webcamera, or if possible internal microphone or speakers) in their VM server 2008 enviroment, to be able to use the device as mounted localy. At the moment we have Linux Mint, but if there is any other version better for this OK....(In that case I would prefer version to allow boot from PXE) On local Linux Machines we dont want any drivers to install (people can swap on PCs, so we dont want to install specific drivers all the time),I just need to force the USB devices to show and be recognized in VM Server [login to view URL] project is only for the installation and configuration of "USB port redirection on single case : LinuxPC-server to make it work, so I could be able to duplicate that on all stations later". Work will be done through RDP if needed, no problem.

Good day, the experience I have in linux, fedora , re hat , ubunut , centos I allow him the solution also now I have experience in hyper - v on machines with red hat and centos ubuntu definitely like linux mint is part of ubuntu will of transparently provide the solution.
