odoo item import

Hello, i'm working on odoo since it was version 4.2, i worked on each and every release than after. so it's several years of experience now on odoo. i did a wide variety of projects, from a simple installation to complete implementation with support, migration, integration with third-party services, website. I customized CRM, Sale, Purchase, Account, Project, HR, MRP, etc modules, and did several modules of integration with Magento, Amazon, eBay, Payment gateways, Shipping providers etc. please have a look at my profile and reviews to get more idea of my expertise in the field of odoo. == Related to this project == I have done similar scripts to import data in odoo quite a few times, SQL scripts are not preferred when working with odoo, because of odoo stores data across tables. if one missed, it may cause issues later, best is the python script using odoo API. Hi... may I know from where do you need to do import? is it some database or CSV file? if CSV may be we can format it properly and directly import in Odoo otherwise might have to write a script.
