Servlet WebDav

I have a simple CMS application written in Java. I store all my files in a database. I want users to access the files using webdav protocol. therefore, I would like to develop a servlet that support Webdav level 1 and 2+ protocol. the following functionality should be provided: 1. users using windows explorer can map a driver to our CMS server using the Servlet 2. users will provide username and password and the server will provide files specific to the user (the user authorization and authentication will be done by me, you wil only develop the webdav protocol side) 3. user can do all level 1 and 2 methods such as PROPFIND PROPPATCH MKCOL COPY MOVE LOCK UNLOCK download upload delete search 4. the following RFC should be implemented : 4.1 RFC 4918 (WebDAV - HTTP Extensions for Distributed Authoring, obsoleting RFC 2518) 4.2 RFC 3253 (DeltaV - Versioning Extensions to WebDAV) 4.3 RFC 3648 (Ordered Collections Protocol) 4.4 RFC 3744 (Access Control Protocol) 4.5 RFC 5323 (WebDAV SEARCH; previously DASL - DAV Searching and Locating) draft-ietf-webdav-bind (Binding Extensions to Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV)) A Great place to start is the apache Jackrabbit WebDAV Library. it implements all required RFCs and it is apache licence. check out: [login to view URL] full implementation can be found here :[login to view URL] [login to view URL] the code should be written in object-oriented way with clear interfaces so that it can be extended. the code also should be documented and clean. another options is WebDAV Construction Kit at [login to view URL] In your rely, please clearly state if you have experience developing a webdav servlet, and how you will solve this problem.
