I can accomplish this goal using Grasshopper in Rhinoceros. I can create a UI where you can control the import and export with simple button clicks and the script will automatically do all the orientation, scaling and positioning for you. the grasshopper script can read data from a specific folder and covert object orientation and when you click export, it will save new oriented file in a new folder with your desired format.
