Hi There, Multithread will not help n this case as if internet is not there then the data will not come hence multi thread will also fail. Multi thread only make app not hang while waiting for data. I have done similar data synchronization for marine industry where sailing ships do not have internet connectivity but still they create reports on their computers and when internet comes all data is synchronized with shore. There are couple of ways we can achieve this. 1) Implement DB synchronization. 2) If its desktop app then load the data when internet is available. I believe in building long relationships, trust and good communication. I usually reply within minutes of ping from you. I'll wait for your ping on chat to discuss more on the project. The application connects to the remote sql server using internet and when there is no-internet the application get hanged and to solve this you need to make this call using multi-thread. In your case, there will be a progress bar will be showing instead of gridview, when all data arrived then remove the progress bar and show the gridview. depending on your task, it wouldn't take so long.
