Background
BreakerPRO is a Windows application which I developed myself, which each of my 15 customers (and growing) uses to manage their stock, invoices, intergration to ebay and paypal (using PHP scripts already developed). Most sites use a local Access database, whereas others use MSSQL. All stock is automatically sync'd up to the matchapart MSSQL database every 5mins. BreakerPRO automatically downloads sales via the Paypal IPN (instant payment notificaton PHP script) from the table on the web MSSQL database.
The goal of the web sites (powered by matchapart) is to allow anyone to be able to instantly search the used car part market, and able to buy online instantly - no other web site offers this (hence this being a confidential project, and fully copyrighted).
BreakerPRO has many other features such as automatically quoting on part requests via another web site called 1st Choice Spares (this is a 3rd party company I partner with). This allows the system to generate quotes automatically for the car dismanter supplier, rather than this being done normally.
The current [login to view URL] site is a version I did in ASP however this is not very good as you will see, however a guy who developed the ebay and paypal scripts was meant to start on the web developments for customers but due to family committements he wasnt able to commit any more time. He developed a new matchapart template and started on the content and functions, but the for example the search function doesnt look like coordinated style of the main site. I have included a copy of the development scripts (however I see that some are actually newer on the server, so you will have to compare the files automatically to find the latest).
The new matchapart template and styles can be used to complete the site, and to intergrate the functions (replacing the current functions the previous person attempted)
The ebay and paypal scripts are already in production and being used by each client via BreakerPRO.
Matchapart is a web site which will allow searching of all suppliers’ stock (this is my web site), my customers will have their own web site, which will use the matchapart functionality (search, results, check out) intergrated onto their site, which still retain the “look and feel” of their own site.
My role is to provide ongoing support to my customers, further develop BreakerPRO and sign up new customers, training, in addition to the Matchapart / Web project management, testing, and liasing with the customers
