My employer wants me to create webpages for the company based on the states in the US and the cities. This will take me forever. I want to see if someone can build me an application to make this much faster.
I would like a program that runs as a desktop application.
It opens up like a WYSIWYG html editor. You can use an open source html editor and modify it.
Once it is launched, I need to be able to load an existing webpage template in there or create a new one, just like a regular WYSIWYG html editor.
Here's where it needs modifications. I need it to:
1. Contain a database of all the States and Cities in the United States.
2. Instead of me typing "trying to find our service in Austin, Texas?" I would like to type "trying to find our service in [City], [State]?"
So, it would need to support tokens that call to the database of cities and states in the US.
3. Have an option to export these files as .html files and select from states and cities. Then, when it saves the html files from a state and city, I want it to save it as a keyword + the city and state.html. Using the example above, it would save that file as mykeywordaustintexas.html.
4. When I use a picture in the editor, I want it to automatically change the ALT tags to the keyword+city+state.
5. Support spin syntax. Ex. "This is an {amazing|great|wonderful} application. I just {love|adore} it." When I type the content for the web page in the editor, I would like to use spin syntax, so every time it saves a web page the content is different than the last one.
That's pretty much what I want it to do, there might be some modifications along the way...
So I open up the editor make a webpage using the spintax for the content
add a picture and the page is done. Then I input my keyword (for saving the pages), choose the states and cities I want it to create pages for and export those files to my computer. It save all the files in folders by state, with all the cities in there like this: mykeywordcitystate.html. All the pages have different content because of the spintax.
Thanks for your bid and message me if you have any questions.
