We recently had a theme made that has a custom post layout for particular posts, and displays other posts in the usual Wordpress way.
The only problem is they edited files that shouldn't be edited:
wp-includes/[login to view URL]
wp-admin/[login to view URL]
and added some files:
wp-admin/[login to view URL]
wp-admin/[login to view URL]
So basically, after a few wordpress updates the wordpress backend does not allow us to edit or add new posts in the custom format.
All of the extra fields (about 25) for the custom posts are stored in a separate table in the database. The only way we can edit or add new posts is by going into phpmyadmin.
We would like someone to fix this so we can add/edit these custom posts with ease. And all the operations should take place within the wordpress theme files.
Maybe using a plugin like Flutter: [login to view URL]
The front end of the site is working fine.
Another small issue:
For some reason we have to manually insert
and
before and after every paragraph or the theme will not display paragraphs correctly. We would like this fixed too.
Please bid and ask for any extra information now...
