Current Situation: (1) An Oracle database with no documentation, (2) a DITA documentation solution with specializations for topic types that are not present with the DITA 1.2 standard, (3) an Enterprise Architect based reengineered model of the database, (4) an Enterprise Architect based file export that is formatted using XMI 2.1
The Problem: The database is supposed to be documented using DITA
The Solution: The database (cf. 1 above) was reengineered (cf. 3 above). This yielded an XMI 2.1 formatted file (cf. 4 above). This file needs to be transformed resulting in a collection of ditamaps and dita topic files that go into the existing DITA tool chain (cf. 2 above). In particular this needs to be part of a solution:
(A) a NDA as a basis for collaboration
(B) one or more new topic types that specialize entities like "database class"
(C) an XSLT based transformation that transforms contents from the XMI file to the dita files.
(D) a documentation of the design and the workings of the solution
