QAD Developer

QAD Developer Job location: Remote Work Timings: 10:30AM – 7:30PM Contract – 6months extendable Job Description: Looking for an experienced QAD Developer to be an integral part of QAD Mfg implementation. You will be required to translate user’s requirements with preferably non-intrusive programming. Some roles and responsibilities • Contribute towards project success by implementing and maintaining QAD-related functionality with standard QAD or (if justifiable) through developing customizations • Experience of working closely with functional leaders at Operational Level. • Can collaborate and work closely with QAD and/or other areas/teams. • Contribute in Business process change or optimization • Ensure quality and documentation around the projects that get handed over to support Skills / Experience: Required: • 5 to 7yrs of overall experience with minimum of 5 years into programming and development on QAD (and Mfg/Pro). • Hands-on experience with non-intrusive programming viz. ICT. • Knowledge of 2 of more of skills like Qxtend, Excelerator, QRF, Browse etc is ideal. • Exposure to integration projects. • A broad range of QAD knowledge with decent know how about areas like Manufacturing, Supply chain, Sales & Distribution. • Hands-on experience with QAD Enterprise Edition (QAD EE). • Good knowledge of QAD product to configure/setup catering to business needs. • An analytical approach to problem solving. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Additional skills • A strong let’s-do-it attitude • Experience in healthcare domain or Manufacturing business. • Pro-active attitude and proposing improvements where applicable • Likes working independently on multiple assignments simultaneously • Ability to collaborate and coordinate with QAD development and/or technical team. • Basic Progress OpenEdge programming skills. • Experience with Scrum or Agile way of working.
