Project overview: We are in search of a talented animator to produce two customized animation videos for the LIFE Aegypius Return conservation project. This initiative aims to expand and consolidate the Cinereous Vulture population in Portugal and Western Spain. The animation videos will focus on the recolonization of the species and conservation efforts of the Cinereous Vulture. Responsibilities: The chosen animator will be required to customize visuals to depict specific wildlife species like the Cinereous Vulture, local habitats, and conservation activities in a creative and engaging way. Each video will necessitate voiceover narration and subtitles in three languages: English, Spanish, and Portuguese. The animator is expected to handle voiceover, subtitle integration, and background music as part of their service. Animation style: We are leaning toward 2D animation style but we are open to hearing your suggestions of the most effective approach. Script: The script for both videos in all 3 languages will be provided by us. Video concepts: Video A - "The Return of a giant": This animation will chronicle the history, recolonization, and significance of the Cinereous Vulture in Portugal. The script will cover the vulture's size, extinction in Portugal in the 1970s, recent conservation efforts, and the LIFE Aegypius Return project's focus on nest site safety, food availability, and habitat improvement. Video B - "Mitigating threats and promoting conservation": This animation will address threats to the Cinereous Vulture, including poisoning, lead contamination, food scarcity, nest disturbance, and collisions with powerlines. The script will showcase the LIFE Aegypius Return project's initiatives to combat environmental crime, support non-lead ammunition, enhance food availability, and promote habitat management. Deliverables: 2 Animated explainer videos with music, voiceover, and subtitles in three languages Duration of each video: 60-90 seconds Full HD video quality Full rights and proprietorship over the videos granted to us To apply, please provide: Your proposed budget Expected timeline for completing the tasks A brief overview of your work process A few relevant work examples If you are interested, kindly submit your proposal ASAP.
