proxmox setup

I am looking for assistance setting up a Proxmox virtual machine. I already have a server but I don't have any specific OS in mind and would like to use the default settings. The goal is to set up a machine running Proxmox that is reliable and easy to manage. If the virtual machine requirements are met I would like it to be implemented in a way that optimizes performance and security. The ideal freelancer for this project should have experience setting up Proxmox virtual machines from the ground up and be familiar with security best practices and performance optimization techniques. It would also be beneficial to have experience dealing with operating systems that are compatible with Proxmox.
