Create Custom Shoppable Hover State On Collection Page

I want to create a robust hover state that expands to include product photos that can swap the main image with the thumbnails, a qty box, an add to cart button and more. Once a user selects quantity they should then be prompted in the same hover state to proceed to cart if they wish. Please see attached comps. I would love this project to be done over the weekend.
