A software or application

Hi Ideally, the perfect solution is to create a software or application that achieves these tasks. I'd like to point that I have a Twitter API developer account created for this research. Stage 1- Collect data: a large corpus of tweets from the Twitter platform, collecting data from a small number of Twitter users who use a particular dialects of Arabic: Najdi Arabic. The intention is to have a small number of authors but a large number of tweets, so we will be looking for prolific tweeters who tweet in this dialect. Stage 2- Data management: a. Transform the collected data into a txt format; clean the data, including removal of retweets (as these interfere with authorship). b. Identify emoticons and transform them into a digital/text format by unique numeric code identifiers, so that they are searchable with corpus software. c. Identify and transform punctuation marks into unique numeric code identifiers. d. Identify tweets that contain personal video footage of the tweeter vs. uploaded footage of any content (again as the latter interferes with authorship). e. Create a sub-corpus for quoted tweets (now called retweets with comments) and the context of their occurrence. Stage 3- Data analysis: In collaboration with the client end-users, deliver data analysis software for text analytics of the corpus. Until the data are collected we cannot specify the exact nature of these software applications, but it is likely that quoting practice, punctuation habits, video/multimodal practice, and linguistic features of Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), Najdi, will be some of the foci of analysis. There will also be the opportunity for you to be creative and proactive in suggesting/designing data analytic and data visualisation software and techniques that are appropriate to the data.
