Need Help with a Custom Formula for a SalesForce Report

I am trying to finalize a SalesForce report but I am having trouble creating a couple of custom formulas for the report. I need:
1) a formula to calculate how long an item has been in an "open" call status based on created date to current date. I believe this formula should be something similar to the below but I haven't been able to get it to work:
IF(ISPICKVAL(Status , "Open"), ROUND(NOW()-CreatedDate, 0), null)
2) I need a formula to calculate first call resolution based on calls that were marked as "completed" on the first call compared to all calls taken.
I have attached the current report sample showing the different fields.
