I'm seeking a skilled developer to create database or programme to accurately reconcile multiple csv files of data from different time periods into a single spreadsheet. Individual csv files need to be imported to create a single worksheet or report keeping the time period data distinct. The project includes: - Understanding of multiple CSV databases. - Accurate importation of each CSV file into a worksheet report. - Ensuring the integrity of the data during the importation process. Ideally, the candidate should possess: - Strong data analysis skills. - Experience with handling large CSV files. - Proficiency in Excel or similar spreadsheet application with understanding of database structures. - Attention to detail to maintain data accuracy. - Knowledge on data reconciliation processes. Prior experience with financial, csv data manipulation will be a plus. This project requires strict adherence to data accuracy and integrity. Sample file attached Electricity meter Reads - Time Stamp Column A 00:30 - 07:00 Night (Blue), 07:00 - 00:00 Day After column A, in row are meter names ex "TivoliEM401", I need to get the usage for the 24 hours based on the 24 hour time period , Day and night - To get the usage for night is taking the meter read 07:00 minus 00:30, in the attached example for meter is TivoliEM401 is 6697.35 -6695.2998= 2.06, similar calculation for the day 00:00 6702.9101 - 6697.3701= 5.54 This calculation needs to be done for all the meters, there will be one csv file for each day of the month. I would import multiple csv files taken all the above data into a single monthly report

I have gone through the attched xlsx file..I have few questions. 1-Calculation for daya is already done in it.. Will the other csv will have all meter columns blank and calculation needs to be done based upon date ? 2-I will provide an executable that will ask to browse folder where all month csvs are placed and program will loop through all one by one and after doing calculation a consolidated csv is produced. Further, with due respect, I believe that the current computation of Night and Day consumption as cited in your example is not accurate. If you may allow, here is the anomaly: - As can be observed, the readings are available for every 30 minutes. thus, for the night consumption, the difference between current date's reading at 0:00 hours and 7:00 hours needs to be considered. While for day's consumption difference between next date's reading at 0:00 hours and current date's reading at 7:00 hours needs to be considered. - The example cited don't follow this principle. With the available information, following can be computed an example: TivoliEM401 TivoliEM402 Night 2.0502 1.6094 Day 5.5601 11.5898 Total 7.6103 13.1992 Here the night and total consumption is short of consumption for the period 0:00 hour to 0:30 hours as the information is currently not available. Hello, I would like to work with you on your project. I read your description of the project and I see that I can accomplish what you want. The solution can be developed using VBA or C# and it can load multiple files into one sheet (as a database). It is easy to process the query you want. I am not sure how you want to see the result of the query. Do you want to have it built-in so that a new sheet is created as a summary sheet with the usage for each/all meters for example? One assumption I made is that all files to be loaded will reside in the same folder (otherwise, you can have a sheet to enter file names to be loaded) so that the code knows which files to load.
