Most of my work involves magazine design in the healthcare field, with the work ranging from 8-page newsletters, 60 page magazines, and up to 120+ page workbooks for conferences. All the work is done through the phone, Skype, or e-mail, and has worked remarkably well for the last 15 years. Services included in the price: Includes design with 3 initial concepts; translation and conversion of text/art/photo files for design purposes; scanning, sizing, cropping, color correcting of photographs, as necessary; all AAs (author’s alterations, unlimited); creation of low-resolution Adobe Acrobat PDF files for cross-platform proofing/viewing; long distance phone calls; preparation of final digital files for printer; checking and signing off on bluelines and/or color proofs, as necessary; conversion of final print files for internet use, as necessary. Number of initial design concepts/ideas you will see: Three. Number of AA’s (author’s alterations/changes): Unlimited. Price: $250.00, assuming all text, photos, artwork, and logo are supplied, ready to be used. I will color-correct and optimize all photographs and artwork, plus check the supplied copy for spelling, grammar, etc. Taking photos and creating artwork on my end is extra…call for prices. Time frame: The initial concept can be completed within a day or two of receipt of all the text and any artwork you would like to appear in the ad (logo, photos, artwork).
