Hi, It looks like the UA-651BLE is only $50 on Amazon. So, I'd be happy to buy one if I work on the app. I doubt you will find anyone familiar with working with this hardware but I could be wrong. I wrote an app (in the App Store as Hands Free Light) that uses BLE to connect to a bicycle LED light and turn on/off various lights. The api was pretty simple and only had a few characteristics to consider. And no type of security. However the Core Bluetooth experience I gained from that is still very helpful. I see the api mentions big endian vs little endian. I've never dealt with that either; at a high level it is just a different ordering so it shouldn't be difficult; in practice whose to say? lol FYI: I do native iOS app development with Swift. I usually concentrate on iPhone. Do you need that app to be adaptive for iPad? - James
