I am a native Japanese speaker.
As a proof of my English & Japanese skills, I have certifications below:
・TOEIC L&R Score 945 (May 2019)
・TOEFL iBT Score 84 (April 2016) (≒IELTS 6.5-7.0)
・The Japanese Language Examination 2nd grade (May 2011, World's youngest to be certified)
Above represents my interest in languages, which is the reason why I am working as a freelance translator.
Personally I travel a lot. I travel abroad about 3 months in total every year. During the trip, I always try to talk to foreign travelers and locals as much as possible because I like talking!
I also host a lot of travelers in my flat on Couchsurfing because I like conversation.
The second reason is I like Japanese & English.
I was born in Japan, and I am learning Japanese. This is not my major in university, but I read Japanese grammar books as one of my hobbies.
The reason why Japanese is so interesting might be its complexity. Even for Japanese people, it is hard to speak "correct" Japanese.
I would like to tell you if there is any Japanese grammar mistakes so that you can use it academically or on business. Or if you want to just have a conversation and enjoy it, it's also great.
