I need a short piece of code that works within an existing script The script generates a csv file. (1) Matlab needs to open this csv file in excel. (2) write a formula in cell D1 that references the number of rows in column A (these rows will change with each run of the code - so it has to automatically check this) (3) Wait for data to be update via a datafeed - it has to read cell D1 and see if sayes "updated" (4) Save the file with the same name as before. For the person who knows what they are doing this is a 1 or 2 hr job and will require some screen sharing etc. If you can do this and work on this coming Friday or Saturday (1) CSV#1 is generated by matlab and stored in a folder. Its name is pre-defined with time-stamp. This CSV#1 is to be opened in excel - we can do that with winopen(). Now once the csv#1 is open - we need to see how many rows of data it has. The number of rows will change everytime we run the parent code. (2) Then in cell D1 - we need to write the formula - "=@TR(A2:AX(row#),"STRING...";ANOTHER STRING ETc); This fetches the data. Once the data fetch is complete - cell D1 reads -- ("Updated at TIME Xyx") - usually a 20 sec or 1 minute delay (3) After the update - save the file as the same name as CSV#1
