Connect SharePoint list to SQL Server DB - Advice

I need to connect some SharePoint lists to a SQL server table so that the updates are all in the SQL server. I am looking for someone to list the options that I have and go back and forth with a few questions and clarifications. sharepoint designer, .net, business data catalog I would like to pay about $30 for this. (expectation is about 30 min of effort - 20 mins to list the options and a few PMs) Someone who has worked on SharePoint dev projects is required. The request is immediate. Thank you.
