I need backup software that i can put on my desktop computer. This software must backup selected folders and put it in a folder on a removable drive, the folder containing all the backed up files must be renamed to the the date of when the backup was run. i will pay more if you can add a function which will first close open programs and then run the backup

If you are using Microsoft Windows I will create a .NET application which will perform this task. I can also make it run as a windows service so that it will start automatically on reboot. You can specify which programs you want to be closed when backup is run. Best regards!
