Script Enhancement for Oscommerce Online Store

We need an add-on to oscommerce website script This contribution makes a handful of related items display as you see in the Some Customers also bought in yellow at the bottom of the page. See here [login to view URL] If a product does not have products that we manully associate, it does not show at all. For example, we have not manually added products to this product [login to view URL] Currently, you can set up as many products as you like to show. We would like an add on to the script that automatically associates 6 of the products that are in the same category or subcategory so we dont manually have to associate some 16,000+ products. Now, we currently select 6 and give them the same value. There must be a way, that it picks 6 of the same products randomly within that category or subcategory. When adding products, there is a field that is called Products Family Class. Typically we assign 6 products a number - say 2000. If there are more than 6 products (and there usually is) we assin the next 6 items 2001 and so on. We need this automated - and fast! Your expertise in this area would be greatly appreciated.
