Full Time programmer

Qisso, an interactive agency in Massachusetts USA and Goiania Brazil, is looking for a Web Application Developer with solid PHP/MySQL skills plus a willingness to learn Ruby on Rails and other technologies that meet our clients’ needs. - Minimum 3 years of experience with a scripting language or object-oriented programming (PHP or Java) - Working knowledge of SQL (MySQL or PostgreSQL experience preferred) - Solid PHP scripting to maintain and enhance legacy PHP applications - Ability to read and write XHTML and CSS and enforce clear and consistent standards-compliant markup - A solid understanding of web-based content management systems (Open Source PHP CMS systems such as Drupal a BIG plus!) - Working experience with the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP), HTML, XML, Web 2.0 technologies (CSS, Javascript, AJAX, etc.) - Working experience with SEO - Working experience with Web Analytics (Google Analytics a Plus) - Previous experience managing other web developers - Thorough understanding of development process with demonstrated experience translating requirements into functional consumer-friendly applications.
