I have 3 jobs on my website that need finishing off:
1) Finish Autoresponder Installation
I've installed Infinite Responder to the point that the admin panel is fully functional, but it's not sending the letters out to subscribers which suggests the Cron jobs are set up wrongly and need to be redone.
This may not be the problem, that's just my suggestion as a non-programmer. The autoresponder needs to be made functional though.
2) Opt-in form validation
I currently have an opt-in form on the site which collects the Name and Email of the prospect. Currently it's set up to the point that the form fields are filled in with the words “Name” and “Email” by default, and these clear when the user clicks in them, and refill if the user clicks out without inputting new text.
I need a script for the head of the website that check when the user hits submit that the form has values other than the defaults, and if not show an alert to remind them to fill in their details.
I also have other form fields elsewhere (such as one where you can input your postcode) so would like the script to be something I can call on any “submit” button throughout the site to check for default values when clicked.
3) Blog popup fix
On my blog (Wordpress), I currently use the theme intrepidity ([login to view URL]) and the plugin WP Super Popup. Currently the popup is showing up under the menu bar (you can see a screenshot here: [login to view URL]) and also parts of it (like the frame in this case) is showing underneath other objects like embedded video.
I'm guessing (but could be wrong) that there's some kind of css conflict with the z-index of the popup elements not being ‘on top' enough, or something like that.
Whatever the problem is, I need this fixed so the popup and its frame goes on top of most things. I do understand you may not be able to get it on top of things like YouTube videos being third party stuff that's not under our control.
