PHP / MySQL / HTML / CSS programmer for custom CMS, ongoing We are looking for an experienced PHP programmer with a good all-round knowledge of website development to join our team creating custom-built CMS solutions from Australia. Working on boutique, carefully crafted & customised websites, making them work in all areas; good design, good code, good search engine rankings and dynamic, easy to update websites. There is no design work involved however you should be able to faithfully match font sizes, colours and layout from a PSD design file. We take on a number of high-quality websites and spend considerable time on each making it a success. All of our software is custom-built in-house, we do not use 3rd party software such as WordPress, Joomla or ZenCart. As a programmer you would: • have considerable experience with PHP, at least 2 years, and using Object Oriented code • plenty of MySQL database experience • have strong CSS & Javascript (Ajax using Prototype & jQuery) experience • have used Git code versioning • be neat and tidy coder with good commenting • work in our CMS framework, use our coding style on all jobs (ie. indenting, commenting & syntax) • be able to learn new programming styles, follow guidelines as well as contributing ideas • some SEO experience • take initiative, fix bugs / issues without asking • have input on project direction from the start • be able to quote realistic time-frames As a person: • be self disciplined & punctual • be enthusiastic in your area (ie. do you read blogs on web stuff out of interest in your own time?) • be able to make own decisions Work you will be involved with: • customising websites for our Evolved CMS clients • shopping carts, login areas, customised public website using PHP / CSS, store locator's, forums, blogs and more • general HTML / CSS and Ajax on clients website • miscellaneous coding and coming up with new ideas / concepts for projects • some client maintenance Looking for individuals or small teams only.
