We need a developer to fault find an issue we are having with our Joomla 2.5, Virtuemart 2.0 site that was being developed for us. It has some possible customisations. The site is close to being finished. Our immediate issue is thatthe Virtuemart Product Custom field tab won't function properly in the administrator. When a custom field type is selected, nothing is returned. Looking deeper, we can see that a jquery get command returns an error rather then a json document type and as a consequence the fields are not displayed in the administrator or updated in the database. This is the first job of other potential support jobs in getting this site up as a production site. The site is [login to view URL] The issue manifests within the administrator [login to view URL] phpmyadmin , ftp access, and the administrator password will be provided to enable a proper look at the site on request.

What I would do is see what version of virtuemart you are running and upgrade it if not the latest. In case the problem insists I will check for jquery conflicts. Finally, I can re-install virtuemart after taking a full backup of the products, categories etc.
