Display Wordpress Articles

I need a PHP page creating for OSCommerce, which will display my previous 10 Wordpress posts, with snippets below each and a "read more" link at the end of each snippet. At the bottom of the page, there needs to be a list of category links, each of which displays a list of posts that fall into that particular category, complete with snippets as above. Clicking on any of the "read more" links needs to retrieve the article and display it within the same page. Also, another PHP script is required to select a post at random from a defined category and display a snippet with a "read more" link as part of another page. The category needs to be defined from within the page that is calling the script as I want to display random posts from 4 or 5 different categories on the same page utilising the same script. I'm on a low budget for this project, so lowest fee will win.
