Need Help Installing PHP Google+ API

Hello everyone, I am in need of some help installing the PHP Google+ API on a remote host. I don't have much experience on this side of things, I mainly just want to get the login portion of my system completed so that I can start working on the data management part that I'm actually experienced with. I need some hands-on help installing the API and instructions on how I can access it. I don't want to be linked to Google's documentation, I'd like to be taken through step-by-step until the process is complete. I know how to use the API once I can access it, I just can't figure out how to get it installed properly. Teach it to me like a child. Looking forward to working with you. Thanks! P.S.: It's not a local server I'm wanting it installed on, it is a remote server that I have with a hosting company, with SSH access and cPanel.
