Creating a Stage6 Alternative 2

We are currently working with another coder to develop a Stage6 alternative. We have unfortunately lost contact with this coder, and will need to hire a replacement within 48 hours if we do not receive any notification from him. The aim of this project is to recreate the Stage6 platform, with a more social networking aspect behind it. We already have our main design completed. Your job will be to take this design (available in PSD) and turn it into a fully functional CMS. You will need to develop software which will allow a user to upload a movie file (such as avi/mpeg, with support for most popular codecs), have it converted to .divx, and embedded in our content portal with the DivX webplayer. Once this video is converted, it will need to be hosed onto our main storage server - it is imperative that the page embedding this video links to the video on our storage server, and not the servers used for encoding. There will need to be a full user system implemented - allowing for comments, ratings, views, friends, mails, subscriptions, groups etc etc. While dynamic content such as ratings, comments, views etc etc will be served from our own main servers, static content such as videos/thumbnails etc must be served from our storage server. In very simple terms, we're looking to build a high definition youtube. You may use/develop your own login system, but it must be capable of hooking to the VBulletin forum system. This is a very large scale project, and we will need it completed within 14 days. We will require a full form of contact with our coders, such as telephone numbers, msn/aim etc. All decisions made must be verified on the RAC comment system. We are willing to offer a $500 bonus on top of our original offer if the project can be online and fully tested within 14 days. Completion of this project will hopefully allow us to form a long term relationship with the involved coder(s), with many large scale projects planned for the upcoming 6 months.
